PyXML needs to be installed for freevo to work. Not sure why, but ubuntu
doesn't include a package for it, so it must be installed manually from:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pyxml
FYI, you'll need the python-dev package from ubuntu in order to build
PyXML

My bad, PyXML is in ubuntu as python-xml, ignore my previous comment.

Summary:
- ubuntu is dropping
Ergh, actually, the local_conf.py solution doesn't seem to work for
Intrepid, because freevo-1.8.1 checks its dependencies before
local_conf.py is loaded.
A hacky solution
- modify /usr/bin/freevo.real to include the line
os.environ['PYTHONPATH'] += ':/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/oldxml'
