I found the solution to this problem. It seems LibreOffice is not installed
completely. Went to the Software Center and found that Writer, Impress and Calc
are shown as installed, but not Base and also not LibreOffice as a whole. I
installed LibreOffice and it downloaded some 400 MB. Now Labels

Actually there is such an option, just at another place.
When you right click on the file and go to properties, there is a tab called
"Open with"
it lists a number of applications and you can choose one and click on "Set as
default".

I got this error, but followed advise of #15 and it disappeared. I do have this
error again when I switch to VT2-6 via "Ctrl+Alt+F2-6" and upon

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I always run Skype with "export
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib32/libv4l/v4l1compat.so && skype" workaround.
Otherwise webcam does not work.
