I forgot to mention one more thing. I tried the latest activetcl release
(8.5.8.2) - no more segfaults and changing the window icon works again. So the
solution mentioned in the bug report here

Same problem here on Ubuntu 8.04 and 8.10. But I do not have compiz
enabled. But it is working on openSUSE 11.0 with Gnome 2.22, so this
doesn't seem to be Gnome related.
