I'm also affected by this. I installed tvtime and surprised to see that
sound in tvtime not working anymore :O :O. It worked flawlessly in lucid
and before.
Is there any logical workaround available ?

One of my friend bought a e1550 modem and Then I was not able to fully work it
in ubuntu 10.04. I tried to add a new udev rule to define
/lib/udev/modem-modeswitch --vendor 0x12d1 --product 0x140c --type
option-zerocd in this way but it some times
desktop edition.
Can anyone help me???
