Lazarus packages provided by Ubuntu are old and broken.
After having read

synchronizing sources from SVN using the latest tags for stable version

I've upgraded from 6.10 to 7.04, then from 7.04 to 7.10 RC.
I think that this bug is related to #148881 because they seem to be same kinds
of failure but on another package dependency.
