Fred, I have an acer aspire one too, the wifi works fine, Network
manager just keeps trying to connect to a wired network even if there
isnt one there. I use WICD which gives up after one attempt at the wired
and then connets to the regular wireless network. If that doesnt help,

I can confirm. fresh intrepid install. Intel Atom in an acer aspire one running
netbook remix. i just get semi-random shutdowns
