I am facing the same issue with PHP code being worked on in Netbeans 6.7.1.
In copy-pasting php code into firefox, all sessions of firefox die without warning. This is repeatable. Applications other than firefox (eg Tomboy Notes) can handle the copy-paste just fine - and when copy-pasted from there onto firefox, there's no issue.
