Modifications 0.6" and when I disable it, I still am encountering the

The issue is that I can't get to any other window unless I quit
firefox-- using alt a

I followed the hint mentioned above by Luca from bug 359600 and disabled
uxa then added these lines in xorg:
Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"
Option "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy"
While it did boost performance somewhat, it was still very sluggish.

I can confirm that this is still an issue. To summarize that bug as I
believe he states it is simply that "the open file dialog need to
support URLs (if the application supports gnome-vfs)" or in other words
you are unable to add a url to a playlist using any of the programs
dialogs.

The fix works I think because with the Launcher/Taskmanager at the right
end it initiates its own redraws. If you are in the awn-manager and try
reordering any of the applets, the artifacts come right back regardless

Ran updates on Apr.9 around 6pm PST (-8 GMT). After it finished my ASUS
PCMCIA wireless card didn't work and now when I try to launch
System->Admin->Hardware Drivers I get this crash.

When Pidgin is opened I currently have it set to also display the New
Mail window if my account have new mail. In cases where the Buddy List
is open at the same time that the New Mail window is opened, when the
Buddy List window is closed followed

Pidgin
The fix works I think because with the Launcher/Taskmanager at the right
end it initiates its own redraws. If you are in the awn-manager and try
reordering any of the applets, the artifacts come right back regardless
of where they are. It seems like anytime an applet is not the cause of
its own rep
