Similar issue here:
I was using kernel 5.4.0.42.46 with nvidia-drivers-440, installed 5.8.3,
booted into the new kernel and the graphics were way worse. Software &
Updates still has the radio button selected for nvidia,
see attached, this looked terrible stretched across a 3440*1440 screen.

I have a HP Color Laser Jet PRO MFP M281fdw. After upgrading from Ubuntu 18.04
LTS to 20.04 LTS the printer is not responding, scanning cannot start. I have
tried with HPLIP ver.3.20.5 from HP. The installation stops after this section
I don't know enough about the scope of the release-upgrader in terms of
what it covers, but just to say, this bug also affects me on this
machine when I clean-install from liveUSB, for either ubuntu or xubuntu,
and also when I'm running the liveUSB without installing.

saving any tags edits (2.4ghz dual core E6600); generally sluggish performance.
I've turned BPM detection off podcast support off. I just ran the debug
command as per your advice to Myk, made one tag
FWIW: before migrating to banshee from rhythmbox (recently) I BPM tagged
all my files with BPM Analyser (window program) so all but the 8 .ape
tracks in my ~35000 track library are tagged, yet it still goes on
forever. Dunno if that's useful intel but thought I'd mention it just in

Go to add files, click anything on desktop, add files icon greyed out. Tried
with other archive formats, same. Tried with various
Worked fine in xarchiver I don't anticipate the files are the problem.
Unless it's supposed to run as root or something, and not getting called
properly, but I'm running from the system menu...

I've had banshee for ages but never used it; recently fired it up and
turned 'watch folders' on in the background, did nothing else, and
exited. The folder in question is /home/music and only has (3)
downloaded podcast folders in it. Now banshee crashes at startup as per
other users here.

I don't know if this made any difference since I did the low quality
zoom hack, but I also turned off a ton of extensions which I never use.
Not a proper solution but if you're not using them...?

This is a bug in progress as I'm not sure what's causing the problem.
1. I originally found these bugs by trying to copy loads of mp3s to an external
drive and getting an input/output splicing error, and wrote down all those that
didn't copy.

Hi. Executing the following:
mp3check -e Bush - Reasons.mp3
results in:
Bus error (core dumped)
It did tell me about junk frames, then crashed, then I fixed them and it
crashed afterwards, so I guess the crashing is happening after the error check
fix, if that helps.
