Public bug reported: Ever since I updated to 11.04 I am not able to connect to my phones wi- fi hotspot anymore. This worked ok before, but stopped with the upgrade. Still works with older Ubuntu installations and other systems, so it's not the phone. $ lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu

thanks Aaron for the hint. For me the following workaround worked as well and is, in case Firefox is installed on the machine, much easier to accomplish: - Launch Mozilla Firefox - Open youtube.com in Firefox - Right click on any flash content - Select Settings... - Disable the hardware
