new tab page of firefox by default shows a grid of 3x3 thumbnails.
changed it to 4x3 (4 columns and 3 rows). faced no problem till version
30. with version 31, the lower row disappeared. it showed only a grid of
4x2. the about:config showed the option correctly (4x3). after up
modem manager developer has created a bug report on this -

pspp version not being udated to the latest stable release
To
two points-
1. though it is saying that PSPP is not installed; but that is not true.
PSPP 0.8.3 is downloaded and installed; but not from the repository.
2. apparently, the debian maintainer for the package (PSPP) is not
available for two years. as a result, PSPP could not be updated in
debian. u

is 0.8.3 which was released on 25th April, 2014[2]. the earlier stable
version, 0.8.2, was released on 14th January, 2014[2].
unfortunately, the version of PSPP present in the repository, is not the

huawei E355 is a USB router (1x Ethernet-over-USB, 5 x WLAN) [1].
with ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS (3.8 series of kernel), it was recognised and
worked properly by default. a connection was created under the 'wired
connection' option just by plugging the device into the machine.

ideally, after selecting some files and pressing the apply button in
synaptic, the download starts. the download window shows an option of
"show individual files". now four column should be visible - status,
size, package and URI.

i am affected too. it was there after the install; but disappeared after
booting.
tried nm-applet; did not reappear.
deleted the indicator plug in form the panel and re-added it. now, its back.

just adding that with recent updates, libreoffice 4.0.3 is again working
in ubuntu 12.04. had to install libreoffice-gtk again.uninstalled it few
