Title:
Power consumption after update of acpid (1.0.10-5ubuntu2.1,
1.0.10-5ubuntu2.2)
Are these bugs related to mine? They all happened after the same
update and all seem to be acpi related.

Truthfully, before this update, I am not sure I was using ACPI, I think
maybe I was using APM.
What would be the most helpful troubleshooting steps?

I tried this via synaptic and saw no difference which made me think
maybe some conf / properties file had been changed and was not reverted
when I switched back.
Would you know, what configuration options I should have set in my
grub.conf such as apci=force, etc?

Hi Pedro,
I realized I filed the bug incorrectly when noticing all of my
proprietary drivers where missing. Can you move the bug to the
appropriate category or do I need to file a new bug? If so, would you
be so kind to send me the link to the proper category to file it in?
Thanks Much Pedro,
Actually this bug should be moved into an upgrade category - all drivers
are gone, webcam, sound, wireless.
Please make this a huge priority as I don't want other people who
upgrade to go through this.
Thanks Much.
