What version of ubuntu and control-center do you use? control center 1:2.16.1-0ubuntu4.2 Do you have the package gtk2-engines-gtk-qt installed? yes, version 0.70-0ubuntu1 Could you remove it and rename/remove all files in your home directory that start with .gtkrc? Does this stop the theme
