No workarounds fixed my 2400G lockups. I RMAd the CPU (got a new one) and motherboard (because the firmware killed itself) and got it repaired. Since then I didn't have a single lockup with all the workarounds disabled, so I'd say that CPUs before some certain time period were possibly
