As for now, the problem is fixed, PPA is not necessary -- I have reinstalled my
system from CD. U-3D does not start, though. :-(
Thank you for your kind attention.

Public bug reported:
Instead of nice right-top menu, I get just a "no" icon leading to
network menu. The problem appears in 2d only.
BTW. Why the "3d" does not load? If I run it manually (alt-F2, unity),
it works pretty good. :-/

As for me: I have a server using ISO-8859-2 (Latin 2) encoding. With both
Nautilus and gvfs-ls I get ugly "?" marks instead of the characters above #127.
Ssh works well -- if I choose proper encoding in terminal preferences.
I do not expect of Nautilus to be clever enough to guess the encoding to

If you mount third one, you just mount the share. For the forth: the share is
mounted, but the 'mount share' is back in menu for the third share. :-D
Last not least: it does not always work the same (described) way.
My /etc/fstab is like:

Since there is an option in nautilus: "show hidden files", one could use

• Did the machine break while going to sleep or waking up?
It seems to be at wakeup: after suspend the diode is blinking, so it should be.
Then I push the power button and the computer begins the wakeup, yet the screen
