I'd also be grateful for xorg downgrade instruction :-) I couldn't find anything about the issue on the 'net and I was feeling kinda lonely. It happens to me also - sometimes after couple of hours, sometimes minutes after X start.
I'm using Dell XPS M1330 w/ GF8400GS; using Xinerama because panel has 1280x800 res and external monitor (attached via HDMI) is 1680x1050, TwinView don't like working on monitors of different res. In my work, I use both Firefox and VirtualBox and as far my best solution was to use only firefox in VB - no window switching, no bug - but it's not the most comfortable solution. The problem importance for me - it's critical. -- X.org will stop responding to mouse clicks on Ibex with Xinerama.
