As this problem only shows up on some system, I found purging the packet
"uvcdynctrl" solves the problem for me.
Up to now I see no side effects, as the webcam anyway seams to be unsupported

This was needed since OpenSuse 11.4 and also for Ubuntu 12.04. (due to some
changes in the kernel as I remember.)
Where can I find this 2 upstart files?
I have also tested a sleep of 10 sec before starting rpc.gssd, which also
helps to solve the problem mostly.
The problem here was a started rpc.gssd with wrong or no credentials (missing
network connection at start of rpc.gssd).(mount was denied by server)
I have to apologize, but the bug is not autofs5 related.
Its only nfs4 related!

I tried to reconfigure the keymap with the commands

Binary package hint: update-manager
Today I tried to upgrade my system from 9.04 to 9.10 RC via update-
manager -d. When I clicked the button for the dist-upgrade, I got the
release notes and then a dialog which sais it's downloading 2 files.
After that, update-manager just c

I hope this is the right place to upload this. It's a screenshot of
kerning problems in the OOO UI. All Ooo programs are affected.

For me, the OpenOffice fonts are not kerned properly. The letters run
into each other. BTW, these are the fonts in the chrome, not the
document. However they are no longer blurry like Firefox. I remember
that OpenOffice fonts used to be blury around the time that this ticket
was opened.

Repeatable for me on karmic.
Often if i select more than one row, pgadmin3 says it's deleting many
millions. Once I confirm the deletion, the program crashes.

I can confirm that this continues to be a problem with me. Firefox
version is 3.5.3. I'm attaching an image of the fuzzy fonts. No other
program (not even thunderbird) shows fonts like this on my karmic
machine.
While the fonts shown in openoffice are uglier than the remainder of the
