The same problem for me:
If the two broken symlinks to qzcri.pfb and qzcri.afm are corrected,
Cenon does not start in ubuntu 10.04 64Bit with the message:
ste...@stefan-laptop:/$ Cenon
2010-10-31 13:56:24.771 Cenon[8270] loading model file
Hello,
it is solved.
Channels were muted by default; they could not be powered on with
alsamixer, but with the gnome alsamixer gui.
