I can confirm the bluez-compat workaround. However, this is not
satisfactory as the keyboard has to be set in discoverable mode and the
hidd --search has to be done after each reboot. This is not a practical
solution, as the BT keyboard is my main.

I think we can close this bug, linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24 supports firmware
loading since 2.6.24-7.11,
so we don't need ift-load anymore.
Can someone uninstall isight-firmware-tools and see if their iSight is working

no longer in Ubuntu, I guess I would use the XEmacs packaging system.
Since this is independent of Ubuntu, I guess the issue would not

after the updates from 24/6 the start up screen with Ubuntu logo has become
more compact, but it no longer sits in the middle of the screen. it has moved
