I'm still experiencing this bug on a fresh Lucid x64 install. I never
had this problem on my prior Lucid install.
If this bug is incomplete, please let me know what information you need
so I can provide it as it is quite frustrating.
This is not a server-side problem as I never experienced it
Stellarium worked fine just a few weeks ago on the same system (Lucid,
x64), but I tried to run it tonight and it crashed. I think it's the
same bug and am attaching what I could gather from the bug using gdb.
The program crashes immediately on startup.

I can confirm this problem on my system. My system is slightly different
in that my / swap and /home are each crypted with a passphrase. Until
recently (i.e. the last week), the system would prompt for passphrases
for / and swap, and then throw an error message about waiting too long
to mount fs

i386 Alternate CD. I am stuck in low-graphics

I can confirm the same issue. I am not using any flash-based storage,
just a regular hdd.
I upgraded 7.10 x64 -- 8.04 x64 on my Macbook Pro 3,1. Upgrade appeared
to go okay, and the machine starts, but login hangs. I can access tty.
Without gdm, 8.04 is a no-go for me. I've reverted back to 7.10.
I *was* running hardy on my macbook pro 3,1. Without a working gdm, I
was forced to revert to Gutsy because this is my primary OS. So, I can't
test these patches. Here's my hardware info:

I installed Gutsy x64 on my Macbook Pro 3.1 from the Live CD this week,
then decided to do a reinstall from the Alt CD to take advantage of the
LUKS drive encryption. Bluetooth worked like a charm under the Live CD,
but I'm getting nothing after reinstalling. hcitool scan yields no such
device.
