Problem with 3/29 updates.
I have an Acer Ferrari with ATI Mobility Radeon 7000.
My video card no longer works.
I tried updating xorg. No luck.
I tried adding the following to the conf file;
Option MonitorLayout LVDS,AUTO
which has worked for the past 8 or so of my installs.

I did as you said and blacklisted bcm43xx. That was the problem. Now it boots
fine.
However, now I have no internet connectivity.
Unless someone wants me to send any error logs or do any testing, I am going to
try re-installing from a new Feisty disk tomorrow a.m., and see what that

Tomboy does not install in feisty
I tried to install Tomboy from both add/remove in Applications, and through
Synaptic. Add/remove failed. Synaptic told me I needed old libraries. Did that.
Tomboy came up once, without recognizing any of my prior notes, when I called
it up through a terminal window.
But since then--nothing.
In the feisty AMD64 repository, Tomboy is only at version 0.4.1.
I did not make a note of which library it did not use. So I un-installed it,
upgraded all my packages, and re-installed it. This time Tomboy did not
complain about the libraries, but Tomboy 0.4.1 still installs, and still does

I have an Acer Ferrari 4005 AMD 64. Boot hangs for a very long time but
eventually (about 1-2 minutes later) boots after messages about the timer
clock.

It's the copy command, or the memory allocation, or something, since the same
thing happens copying from CD/DVD.
I just tried copying from a CD and then a DVD, and the same thing happens in
Eft. (I have all the latest updates including kernel as of August 10.)
Copying appears to get stuck

On my Acer 4005 AMD64, loaded edgy on 8/7 and updated today using wire. But
have two wireless cards, internal and Belkin PCMCIA. Neither work.
On bootup, various error messages flash by relating to bcm43xx not loading.
PCMCIA card has never lit up.
