This bug is still there now in Kubuntu 8.04 H.H. You send a chat
message, the Kopete icon begins to spin, and then it states, The
following message has not been sent connection .. you are now marked
offline all in grey. This is only happening with MSN, is fine with AIM
and Yahoo messengers
As Kopete works okay both with Yahoo and AIM, I fail to see how this will make
any difference, it is obviously something to do with the way Kopete connects to
MSN. Anyway, my hotmail address is not for MSN messenger but for Windows Live
messenger and although it should work alright in either. I

tribe 5 getting a 'could not start bluetooth! error message. This is

Re- no sound in Gutsy Gibbon now have sound! I messed about with the
loudspeaker icon on the task bar, went into the mixer settings and turned on
FRONT (up to top) and now have sound! But I have not had to do this in previous
versions sound has just been there. So for me this bug is now

install, when booting Knetwork manager does not connect at sign in. This was
also present in Tribe 4 of Kubuntu Gutsy Gibbon.
To connect I have to go into manual configuration, and select them

Dear Chris my sound card is Realteck High Definition Audio and to add to this
info, I did not have a problem with the previous build of Kubuntu Gutsy
Gibbon, tribe 4, sound was okay in that, so only applies to this Tribe 5.

not had a problem with my sound during previous Kubuntu Gutsy Gibbon tribe
versions, this tribe 5 is the first time that there has been no sound at all.

updates which caused it to stop working. Also the new updates caused the
connection to internet to be lost.
