i had to chance to get my hands on a eee901 go with ubuntu 8.10 (array
kernel) installed and was able to confirm the bug.

The problem seems to be caused by standby and not by a player
The bug has also been submitted to the Rhythmbox bugtracker - that should have
contained all data.
My System is running on:

The systems pitch is to high after waking up from standby. the speed of
mp3 tracks is normal but the pitch is higher then before standby. This
happened in Rythmbox, MPlayer and totem
