The problem doesn't come from the casper package. The problem is in the
grub-efi-amd64-bin package (latest version tested:2.04-1ubuntu16).
Actually, it's the file grubx64.efi inside this package
(/usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi/monolithic/grubx64.efi).

When we run the daily build of Xubuntu, the gtk3 applications (Abiword,
Evince, the gnome games, transmission, gthumb,..) don't display
correctly the menus items.
Under Xubuntu tried other themes with the same behavior.
Under Ubuntu, the default Ambiance theme seems to work
The fix is available only for the quantal version of Ubuntu here :

This bug affects me too.
To make it work anyway, I desactivated the recommanded nvidia driver and
activate the 173 version instead.
After a reboot, I was in 640x480 so in Ubuntu classic session I went to
nvidia settings clicked on save to xorg.conf and just previewed the
change, launch the xorg.c

I+ use the ability of grub to launch iso files but it's the same when I
burn it. It runs quite well with the i386 version but not with the amd64
one.
It was the same in karmic. It seems that the french packages files are
not included in the CD/i
Don't know if it's the same problem I had before the new version of
kernel. The computer froze when I was writting a "sudo" command in a
terminal like "sudo update-grub". Now the xorg restart instead of
freezing the computer.

finished to be transfered. The file was 350Mb. And the thumbnails
generation was in progress.

Still doesn't work in ubuntu studio alpha6. Tried too in jaunty alpha5

as it was with all the apps in progress and the opened docs.
