Digging a little further into the bug database I found #67532. The
output looks quite the same here, so I'll try that later, maybe somebody
can test that, too. The bugs seem to be duplicates?

Same here with a Canon EOS 400D (Digital Rebel). I tried the general
rule
ENV{INTERFACE}==6/1/1, MODE=0660, GROUP=plugdev
first. It did not work. I added
SYSFS{idVendor}==04a9, SYSFS{idProduct}==3110, MODE=0660,
GROUP=plugdev
Now it works. Thanks for the workaround.

udev-rule for PTP
I worked around that thanks to #67532, see my comment from 2006-12-12

I have the same problem here on Edgy. In my fstab I have (among several
other entries like that)
UUID=35F6A1B1239DA095 /media/xp ntfs-3g
defaults,user,noauto,locale=de_DE.utf8 0 0
I include noauto because I don't want to have my xp partition mounted
at boot time but only mount it on demand.
Oh, I just see that even when not having the noauto I cannot unmount
the partition with drivemount applet. There is an error dialog saying
umount: only root can unmount /dev/hda1 from /media/xp
So is drivemount applet completely broken or what can I do about it?
Btw, I also tried the following
Thanks for the prompt followup Daniel!
