Hi Brian,
Here are a dmesg before and a dmesg after the mouse wheel up event. But
unfortunately as you see here, you won't find any difference too.

Sure, here it is.
You will find 2 demsh output attached to this. One when the swtichview
is attached (and the wheel up is firing the context menu) and another
one when the switchview is not attached and the mouse wheel up is
working properly.
