Yes I have had Unity 3D working in Oneiric Beta. I think are are plenty of
problems related to the Unity Plugin. It seems though to be a bit more
stable after the latest Beta 2 updates have come through and been applied.
Sometimes I have started CCSM, switched on say, Window Decorations

When installing the gdoc.oxt extension via the OOffice Extension
Manager, the extension would neither install nor register. Something to
do with Java.
I then used apt-get to update the Openoffice V3.01 package. The

the
openoffice.org package via apt-get, openoffice.org-java-common must have
been included in the upgrade. Everything worked after that.
Maybe it would be a good idea to include a warning message somewhere about
the missing Java stuff.
