i try to run gnome makes the login sound then kicks me back to GDM the other
window managers work ok
except when i try to run compiz from terminal program
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
Dependencies:
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel None
had to fix it by doing the following ::
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo dpkg --configure -a
then it worked after reboot
