Thanks, that's the driver I'm using now.
Pascal De Vuyst was very kind pointing me in the right direction (as you can
see in Question 131966, linked at the top of this page). It seems that I needed
a symlink for the driver to work.
The printer has been working fine since.

I've got the same error message (pdftoraster failed), but with a
different printer (Epson Stylus TX420W). It happens no matter what I try
to print. Even the test page fails. Should I report a new bug? How can I
help?
