Removing the applet from the panel, and then adding again did not solve
the problem.
When trying:-
sudo apt-get remove indicator-session
The response was that the package did not exist, so then trying:-
sudo apt-get install indicator-session
and then adding indicator applet session to the panel
Same problem on Acer TravelMate 5320.
Always worked perfectly on all earlier versions of Ubuntu, but something has
happened on 9.10.

Touchpad buttons
I have the same problem having upgraded to Ubuntu 9.10.
USB mouse is (correctly) left-handed, but touchpad buttons cannot be re-mapped
to be lefty, - permanently stuck in right-hand mode.

Hi,
Sorry to be ignorant, but how do I find out exactly which package(s)
configures my WiFi and other network adapters?
Regards

Public bug reported:
I have just updated to the latest kernel on v9.04. (2.6.28.13)
The built in WiFi adaptor does not seem to work when booting into this kernel.
Resorting to the previous kernel (2.6.28.12)resolves the problem.
