I previously used bison 1.875 and upgraded - because of code generation
issues with gcc-4.3 - to bison 2.3.
Now the generated code produces a warning in yyget_column/yyset_column :

When you copy a directory with lots of files/subdirectories the average
copy speed is shown to be some reasonable value only when large files
(like mp3) are being copied.
As soon as the copy process starts copying many small files, the average
speed drops to 0
