As I said, the wireless worked under Vista, so I definitely know where
the switch is. The switch is on, but wireless is not working.

I tried:
sudo echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/drivers/iwlagn/\:03\:00.0/rfkill/rfkill0/state
with the result:
/sys/bus/pci/drivers/iwlagn/:03:00.0/rfkill/rfkill0/state: Permission denied
I also tried installing the linux-backports-modules-jaunty package but

I did a clean install of 9.04 RC on a HP EliteBook 6930p. I can't get
wireless to work and I suspect that the problem is with the HW RF Kill
switch, whose state doesn't change when I press the wifi button. Since
the wifi worked perfectly under Vista, I don't think it's a hardw
