Binary package hint: thunderbird
Just did the automatic update (Ubuntu 8.04) and now clicking the
Write, Reply, Reply All and Forward buttons does nothing, nor
does selecting Reply to Sender, Reply to All, Forward, or Edit as
New from the context menu. Selecting Address
PS: Get Mail works fine, as well as viewing mail and opening messages
in new windows.

Standard uninstall/reinstall doesn't work. Will try uninstalling,
clearing the profile.ini, and moving existing mail.

Reinstall with cleared profiles.ini and reboot gets a fully working
Thunderbird. Changing the profile path in profiles.ini to the proper
absolute path *does* get me to where I want to be -- my profile set up
correctly, all my mail available, and I can send email.
I'm wondering -- was it the
