As usually happens with both monitors connected - both screens go black - and
shutdown apparently stops.

I have applied the proposed patch.
So far everything seems to work as it should - no more ugly window decorations
after printing.

I am using a personalize printer description file - could that cause a
problem. I couldn't get ubuntu specific drivers for the WorkCenter
copiers at my work so had to adapt ppd files to make them work...would
this be causing the problem?

I did as suggested by Lars in post #2.
I printed and had the same crash of the theme. (if it helps, I printed to a
networked printer from Adobe Reader)

I have a desktop and laptop computer both running ubuntu 11.10.
The desktop has a HP F4180 printer connected via USB. The printer is working on
the desktop machine. I have shared this printer and selected Publish shared
printers connected to the system in the printers

DVD does not work. Quits during installation of Ubuntu 11.04. I was
able to get ubuntu loaded with a usb stick and DVD. Not recognized by
Ubuntu after installation.

I also experience this. Unable to resize LibreOffice windows from
bottom right corner. Also I get the permanent orange selection
rectangle until I restart the Windows Manager.
