Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs
There's a typo in the instructions for OSX users to burn a USB
installer.
At http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download (after selecting
USB, MacOS X) the following text is given -
1. Download the desired file

Same issue on HP Mini 110-1156TU (and I think this extends to all HP
Mini 110 series). Appears to have the same audio device (from lspci
output, see attached). I see a few more features enabled in amixer
output than Jeremy, but still no mic even with the modprobe.d entry
added as per the fix in #2.
What a pity this is still in here - I posted the same bug and same fix
back in April 07.

Hmm, that one is using the builtin MySQL instead of Roxen's own.
Does /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock exist and be +rw for the webserver?

Binary package hint: roxen4
The init.d script from dapper's roxen4 doesn't check for the existence
of /var/run/roxen4. This directory needs to be created (after reboot?)
with permissions for writing as webserver user (default www-data I
believe).
This prevents the builtin My
I fixed this by adding the following near the head of my
