Although comment 22 is IMHO a duplicity bug, the fact that you can do a
full backup with a new passphrase is, for me, a feature. If somebody had
access to your passphrase, the safe thing to do is to rotate it, do a
full backup, and stick with the new one from there onwards.

I'm affected too.
My laptop is an HP Pavilion dv6660ep, with ubuntu 10.10.
LIRC never worked (since ubuntu 9.10), even with tons of different
configurations.
mode2 and irw never showed anything but errors.
I'll try to send the apport-collect info. If I can help in anything
else...

Go to System -> Preferences -> Applications at startup.
Add one called Empathy, edit it to execute "empathy --start-hidden" and
