Same problem with Ubuntu MATE, a fresh install, updated and cannot log in. I would dump my dconf dump, but the file is 0 bytes. The only notable thing that I did was to replace Caja with nemo. Here is my .xsession.errors file. I'm not sure what else to provide : --- .xsession.errors
