Opps has caused my NFS server to lockup. Have to a hard reboot to
recover. Attached are a various logs and a excerpt from
/var/log/messages with a kernel trace.

I am experiencing a similar problem. On reboot kdm starts fine. I
logout and I get a blank screen, no command line no nothing. If I ssh
in from another computer and check the kdm.log and Xorg.0.logs I get
the same error messages.

Change in the bug.
The problem is that dbus-x11 was not installed on my system. Installed
dbus-x11 fixed the problem with hotwire. I suggest that the package
maintainer add dbus-x11 as a package dependency.

X would not start when using nvidia-glx-new. Removing nvidia-glx-new
and installing nvidia-glx solved the issue.
