I'm struggling to have my AWN dock working on my laptop (Acer Aspire 3005 WLMI)
My graphic card seems to be:

Model: Integrated SiS Mirage2
Can't have the visual effect on extra, it says desktop effect could not

I'll try to make it work but never been able to make it happen really.
Also i like to use AWN dock for ubuntu gutsy 7.10 on my acer aspire 3005WLMI
but doesn't work at all, i don't know why that should not work i read
everything and downloaded so many packages for it.

Binary package hint: pidgin
I don't know how you guys set up pidgin to make it work for yahoo messenger,
but it gets on my nerve trying sorting out this problem, also i'm wondering if
it is not because my OS is ubuntu?
If anayone can help me, it would be gratefull.
