Public bug reported: I have a multi-user system. 3 users do not require a password (including the Guest account) and 2 users have password protection.
>From a cold boot, logging into a password protected account seems to leave the sound settings the same as the user had them before. >From a cold boot, logging into a non-password protected account always has the sound muted by default. I could reproduct this across twenty subsequent reboots (just to be sure).
