When Suppress_Hddtemp_Message=true is reset to false after a login do this:
Log off from xfce. Switch to console or login with another desktop/windowmanger
like OpenBox,... Then change the file, log off from OpenBox or switch back from
console to the graphical login and log in to the xfce desktop

However, I think I've found a workaround:
In the configuration file for xfce4-sensors-plugin, located at
$HOME/.config/xfce4/panel/xfce4-sensors-plugin-33.rc,
there is an option "Suppress_Hddtemp_Message" which accepts a boolean value.
