Public bug reported: Most UI components in Ubuntu are too big and cumbersome. There are quotes on the Ubuntu webpage claiming that Ubuntu 12.04 looks better than OSX. I would very much like this to be the case.
I suggest looking at OSX and seeing how the UI doesn't take an awful lot of space / pixels when it comes to borders and tabs. Everything in Ubuntu just looks too big. A slicker UI is required, or just the option of having a slicker UI, as the configuration options are somewhat lacking even with MyUnity and other tweak tools installed. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1005150 Title: Borders, tabs and general UI separators are too big To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1005150/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
