Hi Joe, I've installed the v3.5-rc1-quantal kernel and then re-formatted the drive using the following command: $ sudo mkfs -t ext4 -m 0 -O dir_index,filetype,sparse_super /dev/sdc1 The results look the same to me. see the attached '3.5-rc1-quantal.txt' file with more information. **

There's something going on in Precise kernel and up because I have re- formated the drive in Lucid, Maverick, Natty and Oneiric and they all show the same results but very different from Precise and Quantal: From Lucid to Oneiric: ### df -h /dev/sdb11953512444 1836062180 117450264
