Hi Dave,
The fix provided for #1017017 doesn't work for me on Satellite P850-B236
although they seem to use same chip. So, this bug is not a duplicate of that
bug. We still need a fix for this model.

Moreover; is this only Ubuntu 12.04 LTS related, it may inappropriate,
