i appriciate your offer of help however i did that and it still isnt

Actually my phone is done for eternity, so i need your number again and
also yes it is actually still crashing ill try to run the code one more
time but my computer has issues downloading programs and it may have
terminated the process part way through so it canceled it. so that is
one other ting t

Go to:
http://skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-computer/linux/downloading.ubuntu32
and when the "Open with" dialog comes up, choose "Open with" then select Ubuntu
Softeware Centre from the list.
Let it download. If Software centre doesn't open after it's done, open it. Look
up Skype
Please Dante try to install skype 4 from upstream official site
(skype.com).
It has been released 3 days ago, so it's going to be packaged soon in
ubuntu, in the meanwhile I'm pretty sure it will fix your problem.

window showing documents and what not, then i press 'Dante'(my home folder) and
it closes out, out of everything related to Skype. wh
