This window has a dock type (_NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_DOCK), therefore is ignored by Cairo-Dock. I don't know why the devs have decided to make the Dash window a dock (there is certainly a reason), but what's sure is that you can never access Cairo-Dock if the Dash is opened (because they are both dock

Hello and thank you for this bug report! I'm not sure that this dash is a common window. Is it possible to launch these two commands from a terminal, select your Unity Dash (I guess you can open it with a shortkey or you can add a delay by adding 'sleep 5 ' before these commands) and post here

Shouldn't this be filed as a bug with the individual docks? Because the Dash is meant to stay BEHIND windows like the onboard keyboard, while the docks should not stick above. ** Also affects: docky (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: cairo-dock (Ubuntu)
