But you can also launch it with by using the name of the program: gnome-

Can't get access to the "Startup applications" .
Tried in terminal :
sudo sed -i 's/NoDisplay=true/NoDisplay=false/g' /etc/xdg/autostart
This bug was fixed in the package gnome-session - 3.5.2-0ubuntu2
