Please try moving ~/.pulse-cookie and ~/.pulse out of the way, log out/in or
reboot, and let PulseAudio create new files, and get back to me as to whether
you get audio. If you don't, please get a log from PulseAudio as per
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log.
