According to mauriicio's comment on 2007-08-16 the bug no longer exists
in Tribe 4. rbostan, can you confirm that this fixes your problem as
well? If not, please open a new bug report.

Right but where did you download it from? Was it a mirror? If so which
mirror did you download it from? Did you download it via bittorrent?
The Live CD should ask for a username and password so I am very

i have ubuntu feisty fawn 7.04 and also i have got same problem. before
i have installed 7.04 same cd perfectly. but last tries, asked username
and password. ? any idea ?
ps: i have tried all variations (username Ubuntu, pw empty, username

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that it shows a count down which
times out after a short period and then automatically logs the user in
as "Ubuntu". Perhaps this should be removed altogether, though, to avoid
confusion.
