(or file a different one for it)?
My impression is that it should never crash (and if it ever does crash
that's a problem Nautilus needs to fix), but I could be mistaken about
the particulars of this bug.

special characters where not translated correctly.

Bugs,
there is no backtrace in those files you attached, not sure how you
followed the instructions but it but after running gdb you need to
either use continue or run (depending if you attached gdb to a
running program or started a new instance in gdb), then to get the
issue, then to type the backtrace
Hello, i was able to recreate the problem to a new clean install in
virtualbox an the latest updates.
The problem happens in Greek Locale and Nautilus.
